The challenge
There is almost no reliable medical information in Uzbek — people rely on Russian or English sources, or unverified posts. Content had to be searchable across two scripts (Latin/Cyrillic), with every fact passing doctor review.
What we built
The platform follows the MSD Manuals model: the content is the product, the code is delivery. A Django 6 + DRF backend, a Next.js web frontend, then a Telegram mini-app reusing the same frontend. Dual-script Uzbek search, a disease-article template and seven hard principles: only doctor-approved, sourced content — no AI-generated medical imagery.
Results
Search that understands mixed Latin-Cyrillic queries
A doctor-review gate: no fact ships unverified
Web + Telegram mini-app sharing one frontend
“Instead of telling patients 'don't read the internet,' we can now point to a precise place: every article is doctor-reviewed and findable in both Latin and Cyrillic script.”
