The challenge
Freelance deals in Uzbekistan run on trust alone: neither the prepaying client nor the freelancer awaiting payment is protected. Parties routinely take deals off-platform and disputes go unresolved.
What we built
On NestJS + Prisma we built the escrow core: an append-only double-entry ledger, an order state machine (funded → in progress → delivered → completed, with revision and dispute branches), 72-hour auto-approval and 5-day clearance. In-order chat blocks phone numbers, cards and @usernames to keep deals on-platform. Login works via Telegram OTP; the Next.js frontend ships in three languages.
