The problem
A flat gallery page couldn't show art like a museum.
- Artworks lost their impact on a flat page
- It had to feel smooth on phone and desktop
- Every new piece would need a developer

The problem
Maison — a walkable 3D virtual art gallery
The artist needed to present her works not as a flat gallery page but as a museum experience — smooth on both desktop and phone, and updatable without a developer whenever new pieces arrive.
Before
After
- A flat gallery pageA walkable 3D hall
- Experience depends on deviceSmooth on desktop and phone
- Updates need a developerArtworks uploaded via admin panel
The solution
How we made it simple
- 01
Built a realistic 3D hall right in the browser
- 02
Made controls easy on desktop and phone
- 03
Upload a piece and the hall grows itself
We built a realistic 3D hall in React Three Fiber: WASD + pointer-lock on desktop, joystick and touch on mobile. Artworks (image, title, description, year, category) are uploaded through a Django admin panel — the auto-layout hangs them on walls and the hall grows with the collection. The site runs on the client's domain under nginx + systemd + SSL.

The result
A real-time walkable 3D hall of artworks — right in the browser
Smooth 3D controls for desktop and mobile
An admin panel: upload a piece and the hall grows automatically
A full production deploy with SSL on the client's domain
“My works are no longer just images — visitors walk the hall and pause at each one. When I add a new piece, the gallery grows by itself. It's the format I dreamed of.”
